Y2K Update

Auckland Airport Confirms Business as Usual



Auckland International Airport Ltd. advises that the airport is operating as normal. No Y2K problems have been experienced and all operations are continuing as usual.

Mr. John Goulter, Managing Director of the Airport Company advised that the first scheduled passenger flight of the new millennium was a Qantas Boeing 747 bound for Los Angeles which departed from Auckland at four minutes past midnight.
